Branding.
We are happy to work through other businesses. We have no secrets about our business, all agents and for that matter customers are welcome to visit us and see how we transfer their film. We use a single frame scanning method. In brief this means we stop the film and take a single shot of that frame. We then electronically process all the frames together and reassemble it to produce a video DVD with no flicker at the original speed . Pricing.
We have priced our service very competitively. We do not have any minimum charges as we feel this puts customers off. We will transfer a single reel of film for a customer as we have found customers often bring one or two reels in for a test run and a with a Min charge of £20+ will mean you never see these customers. However when they see the quality they often bring many more films in .
We are often asked “how much should I charge ” . This is for you to decide, we would recommend between 25-50% but it is entirely up to you. All our prices include VAT and carriage back to you be it by post or our own transport. Many old films often break or have been repaired with tape etc. We will repair all breaks free of charge. Broken Video tapes are covered in the price list. Large areas of unexposed film or over exposed clear film will be edited out free of charge. we will normally add chapters to a DVD for each reel Free of Charge. basic non copyright music is added to the DVD free of charge. Terms.
We will send an invoice for each job back with the work. and a statement of amount due at the end of each month. Please Note this will be payable 7 days from the date of statement.
We will take care of your films and return the film with the DVD. We reserve the right to refuse to transfer any film if the images are not suitable or we believe copyright will be infringed. Our losses are limited to replacement of the recording media and whilst we take great care with the choice of carrier we cannot be held responsible for losses caused by carriers. If a customer is concerned about carriage we can arrange a special collection at £0.40 p per mile for the complete journey. If you are sending film to us we recommend recorded post and we will return all goods either by recorded post or our own transport. We aim to give a turn round of 7 days. Anyone requiring express turn round we will do a 48 hour service but at + 50%
